Bible Promises

By: Deborah J. Febish, God's Garden Ministries For Good Health, LLC

As I sat reading God's Word one beautiful spring afternoon, I was inspired to pick up a Bible Promise book. I began randomly reading different verses and felt lead to write them down. Throughout life not everyone will agree with you on everything you believe. Some people will even hear things and mistakenly interpret their meaning.

People often form their opinions of others, sometimes without confirmation from the person in question. But our Heavenly Father confirms his love for us by guiding us through his Word. So I wrote down the following verses. After reading them I found that if you find yourself misunderstood by others, the Lord will comfort you, he will defend you, and give you your answers. "What a Mighty God We Serve."

"When a man's ways please the Lord, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him." Proverbs 16:7

"Be careful for nothing; but in ever thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God."

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whastsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." Philippians 4: 6 & 7

"If you keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love." John 15:10

" He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength." "Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength: they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:29,30,31

"Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, if you continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:31,32

"And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace." James 3:18

"And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever." Isaiah 32:17

"Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you." Matthew 5:10,11,12
