Health Is Wealth Classes
01. "Health Is Wealth Digestive Class". This class is taught by Dr. Deborah Febish, ND. It is designed to introduce "enzymes" and learn what they do , which of them might benefit you to assist your digestion and proper assimilation of food for energy. Are you sick , tired or depressed ? Having a hard time losing weight? This class will give you the tools to help make you better!

02. "Clean State: Detox Your Kitchen, Transform Your Health". This class is taught by Connie Jackson, RN. Your Kitchen can either fuel your health or quietly sabotage it. In this lass learn how to identify hidden toxins, replace common culprits, and stock your pantry for success. You'll walk away with a cleaner smarter approach to food and household products, ones that support energy, hormone balance, and overall wellness.

03. "The Fungus Among US" ! This course concentrates on Candida albicans and parasites. Learn about symptoms caused by overgrowth and the three stage Candida diet as well as best methods to control suspected yeast and parasitic overgrowth by natural means.

04. "Label Logic: Decode the Secrets on Your Food Label". Food labels are meant to inform, but they often confuse. This eye-opening session teaches you how to read between the lies, from hidden sugars and inflammatory oils to marketing tricks that make unhealthy foods look "clean". You'll leave with confidence choosing foods that truly nourish your body.

05. "BI-Monthly Group Grocery Tour". Participate in a 75-Minute walk through a grocery store with a nutrition guide where you may discuss best food directly from the shelf. This will be every other month and is limited to 6 participants. The cost for this class is $45.00 per person.

06. "Strong by Design: How to Maintain Muscle While Losing Weight". Weight loss shouldn't mean losing your strength. Discover how to protect, and even build, lean muscle while shedding unwanted fat. You'll learn about optimal protein rations, nutrient tiing and lifestyle habits that preserve metabolism and enhance body composition for long-term vitality.

07. "The Lasting Shift: Maintaining Health and Weight for Life". Reaching your goal is just the beginning Learn the mindset, nutrition, and lifestyle strategies that help you maintain your results without restriction or burnout. this class focuses on building habits for sustainable wellness, because real health wealth is something you can keep for life.

08. "Fit for Life Cardio Work Out". 25-minute workout with our Personal Trainer to increase cardiovascular health. Exercise will be printed for home use.
​
09. The Importance of Core Strengthening & Flexibility! This class will be taught by our resident Personal Trainer, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a core strength in your body no matter what your age. What good is core strength if you can't be flexible? Our personal trainer will spend time with all participants teaching simple exercises for daily use to improve all aspects of flexibility in our body. great exercise and fun!

10. "Is My Balance Okay"? The loss of balance is one of the greatest issues in aging, resulting in falls and fractures that can severely impact quality of health. Participate with our trainer to learn exercises that will help prevent falls both in the home as well as outside using simple tricks and tools of the trade.

11. "How Emotional Blocks Affect Us All". Taught by Mr. Ross Riddell, this class helps you understand how emotional blocks prevent us from achieving our full potential as human beings. Ross has spent a good deal of his life teaching these classes around the world and we are fortunate to have him offer us his expertise. Learn the importance of recognizing how emotional anger limits our growth and how the power of forgiveness can help us move forward. Direct participation using kinesiology is demonstrated.

12. "The Science of Reflexology". This course introduces you to a science traced back to 2,330 BC to ancient Egyptian physicians of Pharaoh who used reflexology as a diagnostic tool and a healing therapy for patients This class will provide self -help information using hand reflexology. A fascinating course in the relationship of the hands and feet to other body "systems".

13. "Understanding GERD, Reflux & Finding Solutions". This class includes a discussion on why and what is causing GERD, as well as strategies to reduce the risk it causes handouts will be provided.
​
14. "Healthier Happier Gut". This class explores the "Leaky Gut" and the role of the gut in supporting our metabolism, our brains and digestive health. A "MUST" course for those seeking practical suggestions and strategies for cultivating greater gut health balance. Handout provided.
​
15. "Building A Healthier Immune System". This herbal class is taught by Dr. Febish ND and Master Herbalist. Students will explore herbs that can be used for all seasons to help build a heathier immune system and cover herbal supplements that are used to treat a wide spectrum of diseases.
​
16. "The Science of Iridology". The Eye/Body Connection. This introduces the participant to the study and analysis of the neuro-optic reflex, helping to reveal pathological, structural and emotional disturbances in the body by simply examining the eye. The Iridologist
can detect acute, subacute and chronic health issues, including immune system, constipation, liver disease, sodium excess and emotional baggage.

17. "Fatty Liver Disease and Treatment". This class will be taught by our liver specialist Dr. Airewele, MD. The class will focus on the known causes of fatty liver disease, and current methods of diagnosis and medical treatments available for the treatment of this ever-growing disorder in our population.

18. "Tai Chi Class". Known as a Moving Meditation Tia Chi teaches a person to become more centered with their energy. This gentle low impact movement has been used to improve balance with many athletes in many countries. Participants that use Tai Chi daily have found they sleep better their stress levels are better, and they feel more balanced . For medial conditions such as Fibromyalgia patients have found Tai Chi very beneficial. Tai Chi is for all ages. Our Tai hi instructor is Elaine Sturman. Please wear loose fitting clothing.
19. "Are Aesthetics for YOU"? Take this FREE class to see how you can look and feel more beautiful or handsome at any age! Botox, fillers and various beauty treatments are discussed in detail and before and after pictures are shown for you to become more aware of new Aesthetic treatments available. Hair rejuvenation, hair removal, spider vein removal, dark spots, Etc. all can now be treated with minimal discomfort. If you choose to try these treatments, mention your participation in HEALTH IS WEALTH classes and receive a 20% discount!!

CLASS Enrollment
All Classes are held at HealthvisionsMD, 1230 Alverser Drive, Midlothian, VA 23113 Section D. The time will be given on our monthly class event schedule on our home page. Most all classes will be on Saturdays at 11 am. The classes cost $20.00 per class or 6 for $100.00.
